Precautions for Punch Installation:
(1) Assembling and Disassembling Punches for Stations A and B:
First, secure the dedicated die-mounting fixture for the punch. Then, install the stop ring, spring, and nut in the correct manner. Rotate the nut until the distance from the nut’s end face to the punch’s cutting edge reaches 208.5 (units to be confirmed, e.g., mm). Tighten the small hexagon socket screw on the nut, then clean the punch thoroughly to remove stains, sand particles, and iron chips. Apply clean machine oil to the punch before sliding it into the guide bushing.
(2) Assembling and Disassembling Punches for Stations C, D, and E:
Insert the punch into the bottom of the guide bushing; it should slide in and out smoothly by hand. Only after the punch is correctly positioned should you tighten the fixing bolts—ensure the die is secured in the die-mounting fixture during tightening. After tightening the bolts, install the stripper plate. Note: Do not reverse the stripper plate. Lock the circlip screws, and ensure the punch’s cutting edge is approximately 1.5 mm lower than the stripper plate.
