Select the appropriate hydraulic oil grade. For equipment with special requirements, dedicated hydraulic oil should be used. For long-term high-load operation or extended oil change intervals, high-performance anti-wear hydraulic oil is recommended. Currently, most hydraulic systems in our unit use L-HM 46 hydraulic oil.

Perform periodic hydraulic oil changes.

When the equipment is first commissioned:
- Inject oil into the oil filler hole of the hydraulic pump.
- Manually rotate the coupling between the hydraulic pump and motor several times to ensure the pump is fully filled with oil. This prevents air inhalation or heat generation due to insufficient lubrication during high-speed rotation, which could cause oil temperature rise or even component wear.

Select a suitable cooler. The choice of cooler is related to the equipment’s power.

Regularly replace the filter element for the CNC bending machine to ensure hydraulic oil cleanliness and unobstructed oil circuits.
Hydraulic technology is developing toward higher pressure, higher frequency, faster response, and precise control. As a result, requirements for hydraulic media are becoming increasingly strict, and troubleshooting is more challenging. However, 80% of hydraulic system failures are directly related to hydraulic media. Therefore, the selection of hydraulic media and daily maintenance are of great importance. Only on this basis can the hydraulic system of the CNC bending machine operate more stably and have a longer service life.
