In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Measures for the Administration of the Recognition of High-Tech Enterprises (Guoke Fohuo [2016] No. 32) and the Guidelines for the Administration of the Recognition of High-Tech Enterprises (Guoke Fohuo [2016] No. 195), after going through procedures including enterprise application, special financial audit, expert review, and consultation among science, finance, and taxation departments, Qingdao Dadong was proposed to be recognized as a high-tech enterprise in 2016.

Founded in March 2013, Qingdao Dadong Automation Technology Co., Ltd. is a large-scale production base for CNC sheet metal punching and cutting equipment in northern China. In August 2018, it built an intelligent CNC equipment technology park opposite the Yinzhu Expressway Exit. Its main products include intelligent sheet metal processing equipment such as CNC bending machines, CNC laser cutting machines, CNC turret punch presses, all-electric servo turret punch presses, and CNC flexible production units.
